The rule to take permission before posting topic was implemented only for a few days to reduce spamming inside the community.
The rule from now on is dropped however members are advised to keep following points in mind:

•Official threads can be started only by moderators but only after permission from owner.

•We have official threads on almost all major topics, please refrain from making new threads on topics that can be posted in existing topics. In such a case, we will shift ur post to the respective thread and delete the extra thread.

•Please give proper flag to ur topic

[Off] - for topic not related to community
[off-temp]- for a non comm related topic that will be deleted within one week
[members zone] a special section made for leisure activities by/for members.
[official]- discussion threads started by comm on all major topics like sports, anime, tv, movies, music, games, sex n relationships, etc.. each have their own dedicated thread.
Also includes management threads of comm
[flamer]- any thread that may lead to flaming or heated arguments
[games] - general game threads, please flag them so that ppl not interested in forum game threads can avoid the threads
[TUT]- if u want to give tutorials for anything like PS, making videos, scripts etc

except for these, u can optionally use ur own flags if u want to like [humour], [discussion] etc

•Dont make non ending date polls for ur personal use. we do allow u to make personal polls to take suggestions from fellow community members however the max time limit is one month for such polls.

•Take permission from owner personally if ur going to introduce any thread for abusing(for fun) or anything closely related to the same. In general we expect u to use decent language to talk in forum.

•If your thread has been deleted; do not recreate it before getting in touch with the mod who deleted it and knowing the reason behind it.

•Use only advertisement thread for ads.

After the clan closed down, we started receiving requests from old members to resurrect it or make an open community where those people who are not allowed join here may join. Moreover, this community doesn’t primarily focuses on any leisure or fun activities so the idea of making a community just for chilling out and having fun seemed justified. Keeping that in mind, we came up with the first E-CLUB in this sphere of Orkut for various people to join under LND name and hang out in a community just the way they would hang out in a club for real.
Even though this community too has received the title clan from most people; we prefer to keep it only as how it was made... e-club. ^^

THE LEGEND SOCIETY was an elite hidden community for a group of highly skilled people. Its purpose was to provide a common medium to the important people, owners, moderators etc of Orkut communities where they could interact, share n spread their ideas n beliefs and take their innovation to the next level.

Every member of legend society was a trustee of each other and all members were aware of the history of other members. This is precisely one reason why no one was allowed to join on their own.

However, the secret community was soon discovered and a lot of people got interested in associating themselves with us; that also led to creation of lots of fake legend communities cashing in on our name.

The biggest one out of these was a community named legends clan which was using the same tag as ours and so people were confused about the real community's status.

To end this confusion among members once and for all, we decided to mutually talk with the owner and take over that community as our official clan which would open to be joined by anyone as long as they maintained our standards.
In order to be eligible for legend society, you were required to be an active n skilled member of the legend clan for at least a month so that we could get enough time to get to know you and gauge your skills.

But soon it became a hassle for us as many must be aware of the clan clashes and gang wars in this sphere of Orkut. Even though we tried to kept ourselves secluded, LND's name was dragged time and again into clan rivalry.

So finally we decided to shut it down after giving a notice period.

Because of the popular clan theory infecting orkut like a virus these days; we too get labelled by many people as "celebrity clan" of orkut. However, LND is neither a clan nor a proper community. It is just just an association run to make all ends of orkut meet in one place. We have no rivalry with any community and the communities owned by members of LND are taken as our allies. Whenever a person creates hassle for any of our allies in any way; he/she gets blacklisted here too. Same goes for all the copied communities mushrooming at a rapid rate.
